Description

The engine of this 1964 Porsche 356SC coupe is a Porsche 912 flat-four with Weber carburetors mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. Before being repainted in Slate Grey, as described below, the car was partially disassembled and stripped. In order to match the red inside, a new charcoal carpet kit and red leather interior were installed. Along with documentation, a partially-assembled tool kit, service records going back to 1998, and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, this 356SC is equipped with. The exterior, which was previously Togo Brown, was stripped and restored in Slate Grey as part of Campbell Restorations' exterior renovation.At that time, new rubber seals were also installed. There is evidence of prior body work done to the front and back of the vehicle, and replacement headlamp assemblies, door handles, mirrors, bumpers, engine cover grilles, and window trim are all present.

The tires on the 16-inch Porsche space saving wheels are Pirelli Cinturato P7 195/55/R16. All four wheels of the 356SC came originally fitted with disc brakes.In addition, headlamp stone protectors have been installed; our collection displays the Karmann Karosserie body tag. Red leather door panels and upholstery, a later-model Porsche steering wheel, new charcoal carpeting, and replacement headliner, sun visors, and dash pad are all components of the renovated interior. Included is a pair of red rubber floor mats, as seen in the gallery. There is a broken-down Blaupunkt radio attached, and the speakers have been taken out.

Palo Alto Speedometer rebuilt the VDO gauges, and at the same time, they reset the 5-digit odometer. Currently displayed at 75,58 miles; total mileage is not known. The replacement flat-four was converted to run on 12 volts, Weber carburetors were fitted, and it is from a Porsche 912. A 4-speed manual transaxle is used for shifting, and the floorboards were redone under the previous owner. The original colors and numbers are listed along with a build date of March 18, 1964, according to the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. The offer includes literature, a half assembled tool kit, and service records back to 1998.
