This 1973 Citroën DS23 Pallas is a European-market example that is imported to the US. Power comes from a 2.3-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, and the body has been refinished in white with a silver roof. Additional equipment includes a hydropneumatic suspension, 15” wheels, inboard front disc brakes, and fuel injection.
15” steel wheels wear stainless-steel covers and are mounted with new (2022) 185R-15-series Michelin XVS-P tires. A high-pressure central hydraulic system serves the self-leveling, height-adjustable suspension and also provides assistance to the steering and braking systems. The brake “button” on this model proportions stopping power between the inboard-mounted front discs and rear drums with less than half an inch of pedal travel.
Over twelve thousand dollars in documented services since 2022 include: new clutch, hydraulic system service, new tires, new hoses, and new seals.
