One owner and all original "Love Bug"
How often do you run across an authentic and original, one family owned Beetle. This 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle is one of those special cars. This "Love Bug" has a unique history. Purchased new in Lebanon, Oregon, it spent most of its life there until the family moved to Goshen, Indiana in 2008. The father was very careful with this car keeping every vehicle registration from new and even documenting mileage and fuel purchases. Every piece of glove compartment items are still in the car including the original owners manual. Comes with 2 sets of original keys. Even though this Beetle has 58645 miles showing, it actually has 158645 miles on it! The exterior paint is still original. The bottom side of this VW is not rusted, and is very good condition, attesting to Oregon "no salt" winters. The interior is in excellent condition. Everything works including the original radio. The engine was rebuilt at 145230 miles in 2004. Following the move to Indiana, the car was not used on a regular basis. On December 1 of 2018, the father transferred the car to his son. The son has not driven the car and recently decided to find a new home for the Beetle after 47 years in one family. This is an original Beetle that has been meticulously cared for during its lifetime. Drive anywhere!
